Respiratory Physiotherapy
Gentle care for easy breathing - from the first cough to confident lungs

What is respiratory physiotherapy?
Respiratory physiotherapy helps clear airways, improve lung function, and relieve breathing difficulties. It is especially helpful for babies and teenagers who are more vulnerable to respiratory infections, mucus congestion and chronic lung condition.

For babies:
When and why?
Babies, especially under 2 years old, can’t blow their nose or cough effectively. Infections like bronchiolitis, bronchitis, or simple cold can cause mucus to build up in their tiny airways.
Respiratory physio helps by:
- clearing excess of mucus
- making breathing easier
- reducing coughing and wheezing
- improving sleep and feeding

For teenagers:
What do we treat?
For older children and teens, respiratory physiotherapy supports the management of:
- asthma and exercise-induced bronchospasm
- chronic bronchitis or allergic rhinitis
- cystic fibrosis (mucoviscidosis)
- post-viral long congestion or fatigue
- breathing difficulties linked to stress or posture
