Muscle Tone
- deep abdominal muscles
- pelvic floor muscles
Definition
Muscle tone is the permanent state of tension of the muscles in a natural, involuntary "rest" position. It is also called "base tone".
Tone in LPF
In LPF, the muscle tone of the body is largely stimulated as a whole.
Diaphragm and deep abdominal muscle tone will initially be tested as a checkup. Then they will be assessed again during regular follow-up.
Regarding the perineum, pelvic floor and transverse, we note the importance of working them regularly. Thus they will adopt a good position at rest and play their role naturally.
Of course, the same goes for all the muscles like those engaging the posture for example.
